# Create a free gift selection experience

Allow customers to unlock and choose free gifts after meeting bundle requirements.

Instead of automatically assigning a gift, customers can select rewards from a predefined gift list.

Examples:

* Add 3 products → Choose 1 free gift
* Spend $150 → Choose 2 free gifts

This creates a more interactive and personalized bundle experience.

# Why use selectable free gifts

Selectable free gifts help:

Compared to fixed free gifts, selectable rewards give customers more control over what they receive.

# Step 1 — Create a dedicated gift selection step (optional)

For larger bundle experiences, we recommend placing the Free gift list on its own Step page.

Example flow:

* Step 1 → Select products
* Step 2 → Choose free gifts
* Step 3 → Review bundle

This creates a cleaner and more guided shopping experience, especially on mobile devices.

# Step 2 — Add a Free gift list component

Open:  
​**Products & Layout**

Then add a:  
​**Free gift list** component.

This component displays the available free gift options customers can choose from.

# Step 3 — Configure selectable gifts

Inside the Free gift list component, add the products you want to offer as rewards.

* Free samples
* Accessories
* Bonus products
* Limited promotional items

# Step 4 — Configure free gift conditions

Then configure the condition required to unlock free gifts.

Examples:

* Add at least 3 products
* Spend at least $100

Next, configure how many gifts customers can select.

Examples:

* Unlock 1 free gift
* Unlock 2 free gifts

Customers must meet these requirements before the Free gift list becomes available.

# Step 6 — Optimize the gift selection experience

To improve clarity and engagement, we recommend:

* Clearly labeling gifts as “Free”

Once your free gift experience is ready:

1. Save the bundle
2. Set the bundle status to **Active**
3. Click **View live**

Your free gift selection experience is now ready for customers.
