# How to Translate Bundle Text in uShopAid

If your Shopify store supports multiple languages, you can translate the buttons, instructions, status messages, and other text displayed by uShopAid.
The translation location depends on the Bundle type:
* **New Mix & Match Bundle:** Check translations inside the Bundle editor.
* **Legacy Mix & Match Bundle:** Use the **Mix & Match Bundle** tab under **Text & Translations**.
* **Product Bundle:** Use the **Bundle as Product** tab.
* **Classic Bundle:** Use the **Classic Bundle** tab.
* **Collection Page:** Use the **Collection Page** tab.
## Translate Text in the New Mix & Match Bundle Editor
If your Bundle uses the new Mix & Match Bundle editor, open the Bundle and check its translations directly in the editor.
### Step 1: Open the Bundle Editor
Open uShopAid, find the Mix & Match Bundle you want to check, and open its editor.
### Step 2: Open Global Text
Click **Global text** in the left-side menu.
The Global text translation window will open.

### Step 3: Select a Language
Open the language dropdown at the top of the Global text window and select the language you want to translate.

### Step 4: Check and Translate the Text
Review the text for the selected language.
If any text has not been translated, or if the existing translation does not match your preferred wording, enter or update the corresponding translation.
You can also use the search box to find a specific text key.

|| Global text is shared across Bundles. If multiple Bundles use the same Global text, updating its translation will also affect those Bundles.
Different types of Mix & Match Bundles may use different text. Open the Bundle you want to check and review its translations in the editor.
### Step 5: Keep Dynamic Variables Unchanged
Some text contains dynamic variables, such as:
* `{{remaining}}`
* `{{selected_item_count}}`
You can translate the words around a variable, but do not delete the variable or change the content inside the double curly brackets.
For example:
```
Add {{remaining}} more
```
The `{{remaining}}` variable must remain unchanged so that uShopAid can display the correct number.
Click **Supported `{{}}`** in the upper-right corner to view the supported variables.
||| Deleting or modifying a dynamic variable may prevent quantities or other dynamic information from displaying correctly.
### Step 6: Save the Translation
After checking and updating the text, click **Confirm**.
## Translate Other Text in the New Editor
The **Global text** window only contains text shared across Bundles.
Other custom text must be translated directly in the editor canvas.
If you cannot find a specific phrase in Global text:
1. Close the Global text window.
2. Select the target language in the Bundle editor.
3. Find the corresponding text element in the editor canvas.
4. Enter the translation.
5. Save the Bundle.
|| Only Global text can be translated in the **Global text** window. Other text must be translated directly in the editor canvas.
## Translate a Legacy Mix & Match Bundle
If you use a **Legacy Mix & Match Bundle**, configure its translations from the app’s **Text & Translations** page.
### Step 1: Open Text & Translations
From your Shopify admin, go to:
**Apps → uShopAid Bundle Builder → Text & Translations**
### Step 2: Select Mix & Match Bundle
Open the **Mix & Match Bundle** tab.
This tab contains text used by Legacy Mix & Match Bundles.
### Step 3: Select a Language
Open the language dropdown and select the language you want to translate.
### Step 4: Check and Update the Text
Review the text for the selected language.
If any text is missing or incorrect, update it and save your changes.
## Translate Product Bundle Text
To translate text used by a Product Bundle:
1. Go to **Apps → uShopAid Bundle Builder → Text & Translations**.
2. Open the **Bundle as Product** tab.
3. Select the language you want to translate.
4. Review and update the corresponding text.
5. Save your changes.
This section includes text such as:
* View Details
* Sold Out
* Choose product

## Translate Classic Bundle Text
To translate text used by a Classic Bundle:
1. Go to **Apps → uShopAid Bundle Builder → Text & Translations**.
2. Open the **Classic Bundle** tab.
3. Select the language you want to translate.
4. Review and update the corresponding text.
5. Save your changes.
This section may include text related to:
* Subscription options
* One-time purchases
* Missing subscription plans
* Insufficient inventory

## Translate Bundle Text on a Collection Page
To translate Bundle text displayed on a collection page:
1. Go to **Apps → uShopAid Bundle Builder → Text & Translations**.
2. Open the **Collection Page** tab.
3. Select the language you want to translate.
4. Review and update the corresponding text.
5. Save your changes.
For example, you can translate the **View Bundle** text displayed on a collection page.

## Which Translation Setting Should I Use?
### New Mix & Match Bundle
Open the Bundle editor and click **Global text**.
For custom text that is not listed under Global text, translate it directly in the editor canvas.
### Legacy Mix & Match Bundle
Go to:
**Text & Translations → Mix & Match Bundle**
### Product Bundle
Go to:
**Text & Translations → Bundle as Product**
### Classic Bundle
Go to:
**Text & Translations → Classic Bundle**
### Collection Page
Go to:
**Text & Translations → Collection Page**
## Test the Translation on Your Storefront
After saving the translation:
1. Open the storefront page where the Bundle is displayed.
2. Switch the storefront to the target language.
3. Check the Bundle’s visible text.
We recommend checking:
* Buttons
* Product selection instructions
* Quantity requirements
* Progress messages
* Free gift messages
* Summary panel text
* Add-to-cart and checkout text
If you still find untranslated text in a new Mix & Match Bundle:
1. Check **Global text** first.
2. If the text is not listed there, translate it directly in the editor canvas.
## Frequently Asked Questions
### Does uShopAid support multiple languages?
Yes. You can configure translations for the text displayed by uShopAid Bundles.
### Why can’t I find the Bundle text in Shopify Translate & Adapt?
Some uShopAid text is dynamically displayed by the app and may not appear in Shopify Translate & Adapt or another translation app.
If you cannot find the text there, translate it through the corresponding uShopAid translation setting.
### Do I need to translate every new Mix & Match Bundle separately?
Not always. The same Global text is shared by Bundles that use it.
However, different types of Mix & Match Bundles may use different text. Open the Bundle you want to check and make sure all required translations are available.
### Why can’t I find a phrase in Global text?
The phrase may be custom text rather than Global text.
Custom text must be translated directly in the Bundle editor canvas.
### Can I translate Shopify product titles here?
No. Shopify product titles, descriptions, variants, and other product information should be translated using Shopify’s multilingual features or a compatible translation app.
uShopAid’s translation settings are used for Bundle buttons, instructions, status messages, and other app-related text.
