A Mix & Match Bundle page can load slowly for several reasons. First, it’s important to understand that a bundle page usually loads not only the bundle itself but also other apps installed on your store. So the first step is to determine whether the slowness is caused by the uShopAid bundle or by other apps.
Solution approach:
Find a clean store and enable only the uShopAid App Embeds. Then open the bundle page and test its loading speed.
If the page is still slow, the issue is likely caused by uShopAid.
If the page loads normally and is not slow, then the issue is most likely caused by other apps running on your store.
The following steps will guide you through verifying which app is responsible for the slowdown.
First, prepare a clean store environment. Log in to your Shopify admin, go to the left-hand menu, and click Online Store → Themes, as shown in the image below.
Then, select a theme from the Theme Library (do not use the theme that is currently live). The goal is to create a clean store environment for testing. For example, I will use the Spotlight theme for this test, as shown in the image below.
Click the Customize button next to Spotlight. Then, click the third icon on the left to open App embeds. Turn off all other apps and keep only uShopAid enabled. After that, click Save in the upper-right corner, as shown in the image below.
After saving, preview the theme by clicking the Preview menu. This will open your store in the preview mode of this theme. See the image below.
Next, open uShopAid, find the bundle that has the issue, and click View. This allows you to test how the bundle performs in this clean store environment.
If the bundle page works normally, gradually enable the other apps one by one. After enabling each app, test the bundle page again. When you find that enabling a particular app causes the page to slow down, congratulations—you’ve identified the app responsible for the slowdown.
Finally, after identifying the cause of the slowdown, remember to exit the preview mode. The steps to do this are shown in the image below.
