Create product-specific bundle discounts
Create targeted bundle promotions that only activate when customers add specific product combinations.
Instead of applying the same reward to every bundle selection, you can configure different discounts for different product combinations.
Examples:
- Gaming chair + desk → $60 off
- Office chair + desk → $40 off
This allows you to create more personalized and strategic bundle offers.
In this tutorial, you'll learn how to:
- Configure required products
- Create product-specific discount rules
- Add multiple product combinations
- Configure different rewards for different bundles
Why use product-specific discounts
Required products allow you to create more targeted bundle promotions.
Instead of rewarding any product combination, discounts only apply when customers select the specific products you define.
This helps:
- Promote related products together
- Increase attachment rates
- Create curated shopping experiences
- Encourage higher-value combinations
- Offer different rewards for different product sets
Step 1 — Create a Tiered Discount Bundle
Create a new bundle and select:
Tiered Discount Bundle
Required product rules are configured inside Tiered Discount Bundles.
Step 2 — Add products to the bundle
Open:
Products & Layout
Then add:
Product list components.
You can display:
- Specific products
- Specific collections
For larger assortments, we recommend separating products into different categories or Step pages.
Example:
- Product list 1 → Chairs
- Product list 2 → Desks
This makes product selection easier for customers.
Step 3 — Configure discount / required products
Open:
Discounts
Then create a discount rule using:
Required products
Required products define which products must be added before a reward becomes available.
Examples:
- Gaming chair + desk → $60 off
- Office chair + desk → $40 off
The discount only activates when all required products are included in the bundle.
Step 4 — Product selection setup
For bundles with product-specific discounts, we recommend limiting each Product list to a single product selection.
Example:
- Chairs → Select 1 product
- Desks → Select 1 product
This creates a cleaner and more predictable bundle experience, especially when discounts depend on specific product combinations.
Example:
- Gaming chair + desk → $60 off
- Office chair + desk → $40 off
By limiting each category to one selection, customers can more easily understand which combinations qualify for rewards.
Step 5 — Publish the bundle
Once your bundle is ready:
- Save the bundle
- Set the bundle status to Active
- Click View live
Your product-specific bundle promotion is now ready for customers.
