How to Show Different Upsell Offers for Different Volume Discount Options

You can show a different additional product offer when customers select different quantity options in a Volume Discount campaign.

For example:

  • When a customer selects 6 items, you can offer 3 additional bottles of Product X.
  • When a customer selects 12 items, you can offer 6 additional bottles of Product X.
  • Customers will only see the additional offer associated with the Volume Discount Bar they select.

In uShopAid, this additional product offer is called an Upsell.

How It Works

Each Volume Discount Bar has its own independent Upsell settings.

This means that different Bars can offer:

  • Different Upsell products
  • Different Upsell quantities
  • Different discounts
  • Different customer-facing text
  • Different images

The Upsell is configured inside the corresponding Volume Discount Bar.

Example Configuration

This example campaign contains three Volume Discount Bars:

  • 1 Pack: Standard price
  • 2 Pack: Save 15%
  • 3 Pack: Save 30%

An Upsell is added specifically to the 3 Pack Bar:

  • Upsell product: Sample Coffee #8
  • Quantity: 1
  • Upsell discount: 20%
  • Text: Add with a 20% discount

Add an Upsell to a Specific Bar

  1. Open the Volume Discount campaign.
  2. Find the Bar that should display the additional offer.
  3. Click Add upsell inside that Bar.
  4. Select the Upsell product.
  5. Set the Upsell quantity.
  6. Configure its price or discount.
  7. Customize the customer-facing text and image.
  8. Enable Visible only when bar is selected.

When Visible only when bar is selected is enabled, customers only see the Upsell belonging to the Bar they select.

For example:

  • Selecting 1 Pack does not display the Upsell configured under 3 Pack.
  • Selecting 2 Pack does not display the Upsell configured under 3 Pack.
  • Selecting 3 Pack displays the Sample Coffee #8 Upsell.

Configure Different Extra Products or Quantities

To offer different additional products or quantities for different purchase options, configure an Upsell separately inside each Bar.

For example:

  1. Open the 6-item Bar.
  2. Add Product X as an Upsell.
  3. Set the Upsell quantity to 3.
  4. Enable Visible only when bar is selected.
  5. Open the 12-item Bar.
  6. Add Product X as another Upsell.
  7. Set the Upsell quantity to 6.
  8. Enable Visible only when bar is selected.

The result will be:

  • Selecting 6 items displays an offer for 3 additional bottles.
  • Selecting 12 items displays an offer for 6 additional bottles.
  • Offers belonging to unselected Bars remain hidden.

This setup is completed directly inside the Volume Discount campaign. A Mix & Match Bundle or conditional multi-step bundle is not required.
