Overview

The main purpose of Form is to help your store collect email subscribers. How to create an effective campaign to collect email subscribers? This article will give the guide.

Select Form template

uShopAid provides ample Form templates, and you can filter the templates according to purpose, festival, and type.

Choose the template you like, you can Preview the template, or Use this template directly.

When you choose to Preview the template, you can view each page of the template.

Edit the form

Now you arrive at the Editor.

  • If you don't need to modify the template, just click on Next button.

  • If you need to modify the template, please make any modification according to your needs. Refer to article Form Editor.

Set behavior

When would you like the form to show up

Once a consumer visits your store, when he can see the Form? You can set the triggers according to your needs. uShopAid supports the following Triggers, you must select at least one. If you select multiple Triggers, the consumer can see the Form as long as any one of them is triggered.

You even can set different trigger for Mobile visitors and PC visitors.

Where the form should show up

  • If you want consumers to see the Form when they visit any page of your store, please select Show on all pages.

  • If you want consumers to see the Form only when they visit specific pages of your store, such as browsing a certain product, please select Show on specific pages.

  • If you don't want consumers to see the Form only when they visit specific pages of your store, please select Don't show on specific pages.

Who should see the form

Sometimes, you want all visitors to see the Form, but sometimes, you only want some of the visitors to see the Form. For example, when collecting email subscribers, you don't want the ones who have already subscribed to see the form.

  • If you want all visitors to see the Form, please don't set any filters.

  • If you want some of the visitors to see the Form, please add at least one filter. If you add more than one filters, the visitor must match all the filters to see the form.

Double opt-in

You can choose whether to send a confirm email to the consumer after entering the email in the Form. If you do, only when the consumer click to confirm the subscription in the email, then he will become your email subscriber.

You can edit the email content.

Turning on Double opt-in has both advantages and disadvantages.

  • Advantages. After consumers confirm their email subscription, they are less likely to unsubscribe and are more willing to open the email to view the marketing content you sent.

  • Disadvantages. Your email subscribe list will grow slowly.

Schedule

Before some major festivals come, you will create Forms in advance and wait to take effect after the festivals arrive. So when you create the Form, you need to specify the start time and end time, so that all consumers will not see the Form before the start time.

Publish the form

Click the Save and enable button, the form will be published on your store, and the visitors will see the form when the start time arrives.

Send automation emails

Once the visitors subscribe, you are suggested to send Welcome emails to the visitors. Automation email can help you to do this.

Edit form

After the form is created, you can edit the template content any time you want. In the form list, select the form, and click on the Edit form button.

Edit behavior

After the form is created, you can edit the behavior any time you want. In the form list, select the form, and click on the Edit behavior button.
