Does Creating a Mix & Match Bundle Affect the Original Products?
No. Creating a Mix & Match Bundle does not modify the titles, prices, inventory settings, or product pages of the original Shopify products you select. These products can still be sold individually in your store.
When a customer purchases products through the bundle:
- The bundle price is calculated according to the discount rules you configured.
- The regular prices of the original products in Shopify are not directly changed.
- The customer’s selected products and variants are recorded in the Shopify order.
- Shopify deducts inventory from the corresponding original products and variants as usual.
In short, creating the bundle itself does not change the original products. However, orders placed through the bundle will reserve and deduct their inventory normally.
