How to Enable Product Filtering in a Mix & Match Bundle Editor
When a Mix & Match Bundle contains many products, enabling product filtering can help customers quickly find products by price, category, material, or other criteria.
uShopAid reads the filters configured in Shopify’s official Search & Discovery app.

How Product Filtering Works
uShopAid and Shopify Search & Discovery control different parts of the filtering experience:
- Product list → Source type: Uses one Collection as the Product list source
- uShopAid → Enable filtering: Displays the filtering feature on the Bundle page
- Filter button text: Customizes the Filter button label
- Search & Discovery → Filters: Determines which filters customers can use
- Shopify product data: Determines the available values within each filter
Frequently Asked Questions
Why Can’t I See or Use Enable Filtering?
First, check the Product list’s Source type.
Product filtering requires:
- Source type set to
Collection - Only one Collection selected
If the Product list uses another source type or multiple Collections, filtering cannot be enabled correctly.
What If My Bundle Products Are Not in the Same Collection?
Create a new Collection in Shopify, then:
- Add all eligible Bundle products to the Collection.
- Return to uShopAid.
- Set the Product list Source type to
Collection. - Select the new Collection.
- Turn on Enable filtering.
Why Are the Filters I Need Not Displayed?
Go to:
Shopify Search & Discovery → Filters
Check whether the required filter has been added and saved.
uShopAid reads the filters configured in Search & Discovery. Filters are not created separately in the uShopAid Bundle editor.
Why Are Some Filter Values Missing?
Filter values come from your Shopify product data.
For example, if you want customers to filter products by material, make sure the relevant products contain the appropriate material information, product option, category attribute, or metafield value.
