How to Create Your First Mix & Match Bundle

Create your first Mix & Match Bundle with uShopAid by selecting a template, adding products, configuring your bundle settings, and customizing the design.
A typical Mix & Match Bundle setup includes:

  • Choosing where the bundle appears
  • Selecting a bundle offer type
  • Choosing a template
  • Adding products
  • Configuring discounts (optional)
  • Setting subscription options (optional)
  • Customizing the bundle design
This guide applies to the Mix & Match Bundle Editor version. The Legacy version uses a different interface.


Step 1: Create a new bundle

From the uShopAid dashboard, click:
Create bundle
to start creating your first Mix & Match Bundle.



Click Create bundle to start creating your first Mix & Match Bundle.


Step 2: Choose Mix & Match Bundle

On the bundle type page, select:
Mix & Match Bundle
Mix & Match Bundle allows customers to select products and create their own bundle experience.


Select Mix & Match Bundle from the bundle type menu.


Step 3: Choose where your bundle appears

Choose the placement that matches your storefront experience.

Product page embed

Displays the bundle directly on an existing Shopify product page.
Use this when you want customers to build a bundle while browsing a product page.
Example:

  • Add a bundle section below product information


Full page

Creates a dedicated bundle page.
Use this when you want a standalone bundle shopping experience.
Examples:

  • Gift box page
  • Custom bundle landing page




Select where your Mix & Match Bundle will appear in your storefront.


Step 4: Choose your offer type

Choose the offer type that matches your bundle strategy.


Build a box

Use Build a box when customers create their own bundle by selecting products.
The bundle total is based on the selected products.
Examples:

  • Build your own gift box
  • Create your own product selection
  • Custom product combinations

Build a box can also use discount rules if you want to create promotional offers.


Single box

Use Single box when you want one bundle box with a defined configuration.
Examples:

  • Choose any 3 products for $199
  • Fixed-price bundles
  • Premium product upgrades


Multi-box

Use Multi-box when you want multiple bundle box options.
Examples:

  • Choose a 3-item box
  • Choose a 5-item box
  • Choose an 8-item box

Each box can have its own configuration.


Buy More Save More

Use Buy More Save More for quantity-based discount promotions.
Examples:

  • Buy 3 items → 20% off
  • Buy more, save more
  • Tiered quantity discounts




Choose the offer type that matches your bundle strategy.


Step 5: Select a template

Choose a template that matches your bundle scenario.
Templates provide a starting point for your bundle layout and settings.
Examples:

Color Swatch

Recommended for products with variants.
Examples:

  • Clothing
  • Beauty products
  • Jewelry

Supports:

  • Color selection
  • Variant options


Fixed-price templates

Recommended for:

  • Fixed-price bundles
  • Build-your-own sets with a fixed total price

Example:
Choose 3 products for $199.


Buy More Save More templates

Recommended for:

  • Quantity-based promotions
  • Tiered discounts

Example:
Buy more, save more.


You can customize the template after creation.



Choose a template to start building your bundle.


Step 6: Add products to your bundle

After entering the Bundle Editor, add products first.
The editor will ask you to add products to the product list before continuing customization.
Click:
Select products
or:
Select collections
Products added here will become available for customers to choose from.



Add products or collections that customers can select in your bundle.


Step 7: Configure bundle pricing and discounts (Optional)

After adding products, configure pricing rules based on your bundle strategy.
Go to:
Discounts → Add discount rules
Discounts are optional.
You can create bundles without discounts.


Discount rules can include:

Percentage off

Example:

20% off


Amount off

Example:

$20 off


Specific price

Example:

Bundle total becomes $199


Free gift

Example:

Spend $100 and receive a free gift


Free shipping

Example:

Spend $200 and get free shipping


Cheapest item discount

Example:

Get the cheapest item 100% off


Most expensive item discount

Example:

Get the most expensive item 50% off


Discount rules can be triggered based on:

  • Quantity
  • Amount

You can also add additional conditions such as required products.



Configure discount rules based on your promotion strategy.


Step 8: Configure subscription options (Optional)

If your products support Shopify subscription plans, you can enable subscription options.
Customers may choose:

  • One-time purchase
  • Subscribe and Save

Subscription availability depends on your Shopify subscription setup.




Enable subscription options when your products support recurring purchases.


Step 9: Customize the bundle color theme

Go to:
Bundle Design
to customize the overall appearance of your bundle.
uShopAid uses a theme color system.
This means the template uses shared color variables, allowing you to update the overall bundle style quickly.
You can:

  • Choose a preset theme
  • Change the Primary color
  • Adjust Text, Background, and Border colors


Change the primary color

In most cases, you only need to update the:
Primary color
After changing the primary color, related supporting colors are generated automatically.
This helps you quickly match the bundle with your store branding.


Advanced color settings

If you need more control, you can customize automatically generated supporting colors.
Available settings include:

  • Primary colors
  • Text colors
  • Background colors
  • Border colors



Choose a theme or update the primary color to quickly change the overall bundle style.



Fine-tune automatically generated supporting colors when needed.


Step 10: Customize your bundle design

After setting the main colors, you can further customize your bundle.
You can adjust:

  • Layout
  • Product cards
  • Typography
  • Summary panel
  • Buttons
  • Product information

You can also add ProductCard elements such as:

  • Variant picker
  • Product rating
  • Product badge
  • Product metafield



Customize the bundle layout and product experience.


Step 11: Save and preview your bundle

Before publishing, preview your bundle and check:

  • Products display correctly
  • Customers can select products
  • Pricing works correctly
  • Discounts apply correctly
  • Subscription options work correctly
  • The design looks good on desktop and mobile

Click Save when everything is ready.

Do I need to add discounts?

No.
Discounts are optional.
You can create a bundle without discount rules.


Which offer type should I choose?

Choose based on your selling scenario:
Build a box
Customers create their own bundle by selecting products.
Single box
One bundle box with a defined configuration.

Buy More Save More
Quantity-based discount promotions.


Can I add products from collections?

Yes.
You can select individual products or use collections as your product source.

Yes.
Use Bundle Design → Themes to select a preset theme or update the primary color.
The related colors will be generated automatically.
